Glenn Carter, Vice President

A graduate of California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Management and Marketing, Glenn Carter founded DataProse in 1990 after a 13-year career with Xerox Corporation. Working with Kinko's, one of Xerox's largest customers, Carter saw the growing potential of variable data printing as a tool for more effective marketing, fundraising, and financial communications. Kinko's founder Paul Orfalea agreed, and together they started DataProse.

Bill Murray, Executive Director, Sales

"Although I'm involved in business development, software alliances, product development and marketing, I'm also keenly interested in helping clients understand that their databases are far more powerful tools than they might imagine."

Since 1994, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo graduate Bill Murray has been helping DataProse clients and Account Executives see beyond standard uses of data segmentation, improving response for their billing statements and direct mail projects. A top achiever during his fourteen-year sales and management career at Xerox, Murray's ability to apply variable data print technology for real-world business results contributes greatly to the continued growth of DataProse.

Alan Denton, Executive Director, Marketing
"I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of service offered by DataProse; so much so, that it was an easy decision for me to join the team. Alan Denton will create and execute marketing strategy to support the achievement of company goals. He brings 15 years of marketing experience, having held positions at global leaders including Intel, Samsung and Toshiba. Mr. Denton also has an entrepreneurial spirit as he has run his own marketing consulting firm. Denton received his MBA from Pepperdine University.

 

John Ray, Executive Director, OSC-CA

"My role is simple, if not easy. I'm responsible for ensuring that every project goes out right and on time."

In 1996, John Ray brought 15 years of management experience to the DataProse team, including stints at Kinko's, the Department of the Navy, and Northrop Corporation. Ray also served as a Sergeant in the US Army, which may account for his insistence on orderly production processes.

"Each team knows their primary focus: the Project Managers must achieve customer service excellence, the Technical Services group must continuously improve efficiency, and Production Services must be obsessed with quality."

 

Curtis Nelson, Vice President, OSC Operations

"In addition to maximizing quality and efficiency of our Dallas operation, I take a special interest in developing newer systems, processes, and Internet applications that improve our ability to deliver an exceptional customer service experience."

With a Bachelor's degree from California Lutheran University, Curtis Nelson has managed multiple people and locations for over 15 years. Since 1993, Nelson has applied his experience to the improvement of systems, processes, quality, and teamwork at DataProse. Nelson has been a key figure in the development of specialized products like CityBill and online applications including Search & ViewBill and Message Manager.
